Our story

Six decades on the road

  1. 1961

    Jacobus Nel (Koot) Blaauw founds Blaauw's Transport in Walvis Bay with a few trucks.

  2. 1990

    Blaauw's Transport South Africa opens in Upington to haul Kalahari salt, and later adds cross-border work.

  3. 1996

    Blaauw's Holdings is set up in December.

  4. Today

    Part of Blaauw's Group, alongside salt processing, an industrial bag maker and Iveco dealerships.
